Check This Out if You Have Plotting Problems with Your Newest Idea......

Check out the blog of award winning author Mayra Calvani.  She has a great post today about plotting your storyline. It is an excerpt from the book by  Claudia Suzanne titled Begore Copy Editing. ( I apologize for not having the title in italics but the editing bar in blogger isn't working today)

This process for plotting is a "Meet in the Middle" process and is a great way to get an overview of how your idea looks from beginning to end and back. Check out the article at http://mayrassecretbookcase.blogspot.com and let me know what you find.

  1. I like the concept of meeting in the middle. That's where my writing problems occur. I have a beginning and usually have decided on the final outcome but I have to figure out how to get from one to the other in an entertaining way. I am currently writing a Christmas story and I need a good middle. I am going to try to do this exercise with that story.

I am reading "Yes! You can Learn How to Write Children's Books, Get Them Published and Build a Successful Writing Career" by Nancy Sanders. I am blogging my reaction and results. If you would like to hear about the results in action, here is where you can read more... http://TheWriteChris.blogspot.com
