Juvenile fiction/Readers/chapter books
From the back of the cover: When pineapple cheesecakes start disappearing from the world's only Pineapple Cheesecake Factory across town, Crosley, a zany red crocodile enlists the help of young John Degraffenreidt to straighten things out. And the adventure begins.......
My review: John and Crosley are hilarious throughout the adventure from the first appearance of Crosley under the bed to the night time adventures going across town on a subway looking for the manager of the Cheesecake Factory, Big Foot Mae in person. The friends sneak out of the house becoming invisible and they encounter the Iguanas gang among others in their quest to find the reason behind the disappearing pineapple cheesecakes.
This story is fun, creative, contains action and dialog that entices any reader to keep turning the page, and is complete with a fun to read dialect that adds dimension to the story. Kids will love the characters, the plot, and the ending.
Pineapple Cheesecake anyone?
